The Effects of War on Modern Society and Economic Rates

It is a fact that the economy of a country depends on PEACE. If one studies all peaceful countries around the world we find their economy to be healthy and their population to be happy. In the world, whenever there is a good relationship between a country with another country they are sharing their ideas, businesses and other distinctive competencies.

But some countries do not have good relations due to historical conditions or selfish interests, which may cause war between countries. Since the start, war has affected the society and has taken it again eras of barbarianism and brutality.

War is that nightmare which has not only affected the human life ,but it has also affected the innocent animals and the plants of no tongue. In different countries like Syria and Afghanistan the historical and cultural places have been destroyed.

During the thirty years war in Europe ,for instance the population of the German states was reduced by about 30%.The Swedish armies alone may have destroyed up to 2,000 castles,18000 villages and 1,500 towns in Germany, one-third of all German towns. Similarly if we estimate the causalities of World War 2 ,so we come to know that round about 60 million people died in the war, including about 20 million soldiers and 40 million civilians. The Soviet Union lost around 27 million people during the war, about half of all World War3 causalities. The largest number of civilian deaths in a single city was 1.2 million citizens dead during the 872-day Siege of Leningrad. Additionally the war badly effect on the education, crops, Health and economics rates of a country. If we study on the above war effected countries up to many years after war these countries were facing problems of disease, shortage of food, lack of health facilities and more.

Above statistics has concluded that War destroys a country in all aspects. The country developments degrades for years from unaffected countries.
